B.A.P is the Last Bad Men Standing

TS Entertainment warned us that with the release of the 3rd title track 'BadMan', B.A.P will show a face that only B.A.P can do and represent perfectly. Watching and listening their new song 'BadMan' I couldn't agree more.
'BadMan' is B.A.P's 3rd mini album which contains their previous songs 'Coffee Shop' and 'Hurricane' and new songs as well. Choosing 'BadMan' as their promotional track, B.A.P wants to make a statement saying that cities are dirty and corrupted and that only care about the superficial things without paying attention to what really matters. But those mindsets are going to change because B.A.P is not afraid to do whatever it takes to change those rules and actions. That concept is clearly seen in the mv as we see B.A.P being against the 'law' and being rebellious by provoking the authorities. In the end B.A.P is the only last men standing, stating that they kept their promise : They will be the change and everyone should be afraid of them because they messed with the wrong people ( or group ). In the mv we also see that no one is paying attention to other - minor? - things such as the lovely couple or speaking general the 'daily life' or the even more significant thing the man who got shot and died in the alley. Everyone is so busy with what's going on that these small things don't get the proper attention.
'BadMan' is a song that combines hip hop music as a new genre called 'Trap'. I guess that while B.A.P were on their world tour they had been influenced by different types of music and thus we can see their new and improved side of them in their 3rd mini album. Plus the song is written by Bang Yong Guk so that makes it more special. All the songs have a different feeling so that you can choose your favorite song according to your style.
Note : I don't know who chose Daehyun to sing the first lines in the song but whoever made that decision is genius! Daehyun impresses us even more with his new manly-dark voice.
Babyz check the mv and sing along with B.A.P : I'm a BadMan.

B.A.P is in a Hurricane mode

Babyz if you missed B.A.P don't be sad anymore because our Warriors are back with their 2nd title track 'Hurricane'. But before we start talk about it, let's do a brief summary on their comeback.
B.A.P or as babyz like to call them 'the boy group that never rests' decided to follow a different strategy this time around for their comeback to the music scene. Instead of releasing only one title track and then maybe a follow up song, B.A.P decided to release three title tracks until the release of their album. The reason why is simple. They said that all the songs are great and thus it was difficult to make their minds and pick only one to promote. With the release of 'Hurricane', I also think the same as both 'Coffe Shop' and 'Hurricane' are indeed amazing songs.
Let's start with 'Coffee Shop' which is a nice surprise for babyz. The first title track is a slow song with jazz elements different from 'One Shot'. I like that B.A.P tries a lot of music styles until they find their own color because they prove that they can pull off anything. In 'Coffe Shop' every member adjust his voice in order to fit the song and not otherwise. I find Himchan's voice very unique and smooth and actually this style fits him really well. Daehyun proves once again that he is the main vocal along with YoungJae while both Bang Yong Guk and Zelo's rapping skills match the song. Jongup has his own spotlight too that gives us the chance to see that he has a great voice besides his killing dance skills.  In the mv we see B.A.P travel through New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco and more places, dressed in a more casual way, wandering around the states until they gather around in a coffee shop to discuss their experience.

'Hurricane' is much different that 'Coffee Shop'. With a heavy dubstep sound and hip hop elements, they also try another style which - guess what - suits them really well too. This time the mv was filmed in Las Vegas, in what it looks like a 4 star hotel and to make it even more luxurious the boys also rent a limousine. As it looks like from the mv, the song doesn't have a choreography ( unless they want to reveal it later ) and thus JongUp and Zelo grab the opportunity to show their flawless dance moves. Daehyun once again is making the chorus very addicting with his voice and Himchan steals the show with the catch phrase 'The roof is on fire'. In the rest of the mv we see some scenes of Las Vegas while B.A.P dances along with the beat. Highlight of the mv is probably Zelo's hair which makes him look even more baby ( in a good - cute way ).

So there you have it babyz! According to your style of music choose the song you like the most ( even both ) until the release of the third song!

B.A.P takes a Shot

B.A.P has made their official return with their new mini album 'One Shot' and they definitely know how to make a strong impression! Their new concept is neither powerful nor aegyo. Is manly all over the place and let me tell you that they pull this concept off. I mean only B.A.P can do so many different styles of music and themes and nevertheless look so great at it. It's like every time they are on studio, they create awesome music and they know babyz will embrace it with arms wide open.
Their new album contains some of the best songs you have ever heard, result of the amazing job they have done. Listen to 'Zero' and you won't be disappointed. I'm not gonna talk about the other songs as I think it's best to listen them yourself and make your own judgemennt.
Let's talk though how amazing/fierce/dramatic their mv is. Or better not mv but mini drama. In the mv we don't get to listen only 'One Shot' but also 'Punch' (in the beginning when they are on the yacht) and 'Coma' (when they steal the money from the van). That's what I call an excellent fan service. The storyline of the mv goes like this : Our boys get involved in a gang fight when a gang abducts Youngjae and they request money to let him live. So B.A.P  make a plan, steal the money and go to take their member back. Now at this point is the highlight of the mv so pay attention.
When they give them the money the gang returns Youngjae back but they shoot him and he dies. This action leads to a gun fight and they all end up dead. It seems that the mv has come to an end but it goes backwards and shows another story. It shows the other version if the man hadn't shot which is that Youngjae was an undercover agent who wanted to catch B.A.P. So it shows that it really takes only One Shot to change the story. You only have One Chance to make things differently.
We also get to see their new choreography. I think the best way to decribe it is Wow! Those powerful movements, jumps and of course the push - ups! Seriously I wanna meet the choreographer and applaud him. Also Zelo has reach his own level of perfection. I mean no one can rap like him and the up and down jumps he did while he was laying down was daebak!
See the mv and you will only need One Shot to become a baby!

It sounds like B.A.P.

Although it seems like they never left, B.A.P made their comeback with their new pre-released track 'Rain Sound'. Ahead of the release of their new album - this February - B.A.P didn't want to leave their Babyz waiting so they gave us a taste (?) on what to expect when they will return on music stages.
The teaser for 'Rain Sound' made me believe that it will be like their 'Warrior' era but I couldn't be more wrong. It doesn't sound neither like 'Warrior' nor 'Crash' songs but maybe something in between. 'Rain Sound' is a hip hop ballad and it tells the story about a man who can't forget his past love with the sound of the rain reminds him her voice. The first seconds are enough to fell in love with this song. Youngjae's simple 'o..ouoh..o..ouoh~~' and YongGuk's rap are the perfect baits to make you keep listening the song until the end. Not that Daehyun's vocals, Himchan and Jongup's parts can't have the same outcome. Now about Zelo's part. I find it amazing!Seriously the way he's acting, the more serious and soft voice he has at the beginning of his part and his unique style of rapping later, it's just incredible!
The mv features the color green. At first I thought they use it because it's B.A.P 's official color but apparently it stands for healing. That's why Zelo and Youngjae are so sad and angry each, because it hasn't have this result. Zelo's flower is still dry and Youngjae can bring his 'girlfriend' back.
I think that although B.AP. hasn't rest a bit and their making one comeback after another, their songs are decent and wonderful. They have tried so many different styles so far and they have managed to make them fit their own type. True artists!

Zia : For A Year

The song 'For A Year', the album 'Anemone' and the mv, are propably once in a lifetime experiences. I mean where will you ever listen a beautiful heart-breaking song with B.A.P.'s Bang Yong Guk, B1A4's Baro and ZE:A's Siwan featuring in the mv? If your answer is in Zia's new mini album 'Anemone' you guessed right!
Although I don't know Zia or 'The Queen Of Ballad' as she's most known of, her voice is pure, magnificent and powerful. She can express every single emotion that each song requires. And all that by listening to her mini album.

'For A Year' is the title track of her album and I'm so happy that Bang Yong Guk, Baro and Siwan participate! Let me just say that the mv is a piece of art. You can tell by watching it that they have done a wonderful job with the acting and the story. I like that when the mv starts, the song doesn't immediately begin but you have the chance to see the actress' pain and feelings through her simple and meaningless actions : Walking slowly, leaning on the couch and open the window. So when the music begins we get to see her memories.
The three boys are actually one guy but they represent all the different stages their relationship went through. Siwan is the happy, carefree and caring guy she fell in love with in the beginning. As their relationship continues he becomes more distant and he shows that he doesn't care about her anymore (Baro) and as they reach the end Bang Yong Guk is being angry and violent showing their break up. Near the end we see the girl surrounding by candles and holding a small fire in her finger. Then she blows it off and everything is back as they way it was. The fire and the candles represent the hope that there was a small chance of them being together again but it fade away like the fire. That's why in the end Siwan is happy but slowly he becomes sad. Yong Guk, Baro and Siwan were exceptional in their roles portraying perfectly the right emotion each. Plus the plot the directing and Zia's voice made the song and the mv even more amazing!

Listen her mini album and you won't regret it. If you are a Block B's fan then 'Falling Teardrops' is the perferct gift as Kyung is featuring!

Don't Stop B.A.P.

Babies the wait is finally over! Not so long after their 'Crash' performances ended, B.A.P. made their return with their 3rd single album 'Stop It' which is also the title track. Although the photo jackets and the mv teaser made us believe that will be back with a more masculine side like 'Warrior' era, 'Stop It' moves in the same beat and image as 'Crash' did. Which is not bad since our six boys know how to be cute and show their sexy side as well.
I like that the mv has a storyline. Bang Yong Guk plays the role of a guy who falls in love with a girl but after a car accident he dies. He starts following the girl who can't see him (or can she?) and since he hasn't have a chance to be with her, he makes sure that neither his other members will have. It's nice to see the members acting and interacting with each other. It gives us the chance to see a different side of them.
Also with this album and mv they are back to blonde! They started as a six blonde warrior guys who wanted to be known for their vocals and their hard work. Now that they have accomplished their goal, they came back as a six blonde cute guys who didn't forget their roots. Say image, differnet type of song. They are B.A.P. and they know how to make us craving for more!

We are the B.A.P.

When I first heard about B.A.P. I thought they were an already successful group and they were making their comeback with the song 'Power'. So when I realized that they were a rookie group I was out of the blue since everything - from the songs and the stage performances -  are unbelievable perfect for a rookie boy group. With their first song 'Warrior' you can tell that they are different from the most male groups as they act and sound more like bad boys. 'Secret Love' is their second song and it gives you the chance to listen their wonderful vocals.
The song that made me like them even more was definitely 'Power' because it is truly a very powerful song with a dynamic choreography and lyrics that gets you in the mood. Their second song 'No Mercy' (my favorite) is a hip hop underground song. The part that I like the most is the chorus because of their manly dance move! This group will go big in the K-pop industry as already stands out from the others boy groups and they know exactly what to do to make the fans go wild!
B.A.P. consists of members Yongguk (leader), Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup and Zelo (maknae).
Their official fan club name is called Babys. All you have to do now is to check their MV 'No Mercy' below and decide whether you are gonna be a Baby or not!
